You’ve more than likely received one of these from every possible source, or had to create your own, so I’ll try to be as brief as possible.
Across our communities, the news and effects of COVID-19 have prompted us all to reconsider the ways in which we gather and go about our daily routines. We know this is a stressful time, but we want to assure our community members that you remain our number one priority, and we’d like to take a moment to address some potential questions you may have.
When it comes to our fitness partners and network, the vast majority are instilling strict safety and cleaning procedures to help combat the spread of the virus. Some are closing altogether, whether that be through their own decisions or by order of their local governments. We will adhere to our partners’ policies when it comes to class schedules, cancellations, and any potential closures. If fitness options are not available to you because of closures, or if you choose not to attend out of caution, Peerfit provides options to exercise from the comfort of your home.
Taking care of ourselves is more important now than ever. As the saying goes - you can’t pour from an empty cup. We encourage you to continue to be active and prioritize your wellbeing - physical, emotional, and mental - on your terms, in your preferred space, and with your safety top of mind. For individuals living with long-term health problems, the CDC recommends that they take extra precautions.
Lastly, we are, and have always been, a fully remote workforce. This means that we will continue to provide the same quality service to our clients, partners, and users that we always have, and we are available to answer any questions or concerns as we all navigate this together.
Our mission has always been to help people live healthier, more active lives, and that will never change.
Thank you for being a valued part of the Peerfit community,
Ed Buckley, III, Ph.D
Chairman and CEO
