TAMPA, Fla. (November 2, 2018) – Peerfit, the market leader in connecting employers and carriers with flexible fitness experiences, announced this week the addition of Christy Pinkston as their Director of Human Resources. Christy joins the Peerfit leadership team with 10 years of experience.
Christy has expansive HR Generalist knowledge that includes talent acquisition, performance management, leadership coaching and development, and compliance. “I am most looking forward to working in an organization that is revolutionizing the meaning of corporate wellness,” said Christy Pinkston, Peerfit Director of HR. “As an HR professional, I know how challenging it can be for companies to come up with great ideas for the use of wellness dollars. Giving employees a benefit that is easy to use, has lots of options to fit their changing needs, and can be enjoyed with their coworkers is a winning solution. To me, being a Peerfitter means connecting individual fitness goals with social circles, both professional and personal, to enjoy a well rounded and long-lasting commitment to health and wellness.”
Additionally, Peerfit has promoted their Chief of Staff, Chris Gambino, to Vice President of Operations. Chris will work with Peerfit’s COO, Adam Lowe to oversee Peerfit’s team of 86. Chris has more than 10 years of experience working for technology companies in roles spanning Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Operations, Risk and Compliance. He has the unique ability to bridge gaps between all of these areas in order to build and maintain a healthy workforce culture, create greater alignment with company strategies, and reducing risk to achieve sustainable results.
“As Vice President of Operations, I am looking forward to continuing to help drive and scale key internal strategic initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency,” said Chris Gambino, Peerfit VP of Operations. ”As we continue to grow, I maintain my commitment to build and operationalize a healthy workforce culture and commitment to overall employee wellness. Promoting our corporate values and culture of wellness is first and foremost to me as a Peerfitter. Meaningful work and making a difference in people’s lives is a key differentiator to working at Peerfit. I look forward to continuing to promote our brand promise and mission to empower individuals to live healthy and active lifestyles by making wellness accessible and enjoyable through the power of choice and community-driven motivation
